CVAC YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Alyssa first discovered yoga in 2014 during a difficult time in her life. She found so much peace on the mat that, a few years later in 2017, she decided to accompany her roommate on what would be their first teacher training. During her training, she found so much more than just the ability to teach yoga, she found parts of herself she didn't know existed, and a practice that she knew she had to share with others.
Alyssa teaches a challenging yet relaxing vinyasa flow at her weekly morning classes. Every class is a little different, and you can always expect to leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and more spacious. She incorporates breathwork into the entire practice to help deepen poses and quiet the mind. Her intention as a teacher is to create a space and class for her students to drop into their bodies and leave their stress on the sand.

CVAC YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Savannah Ingold is a native California girl. Born and raised in the mountains, Savannah always had a love for the outdoors and athletics. Competing in sports all throughout high school, Savannah fell in love with the feeling that working out gave her. After high school, she continued running and began doing yoga as a form of injury prevention. Shortly after she began her practice, Savannah knew yoga was going to be a big part of her life, and so in 2013 she received her 200 hour certification and has been teaching ever since. Since that time, Savannah learned that she loved making people feel good about themselves, and so she attained her personal training certification in 2016. Since then, she has added a few more certifications and continues to enjoy sharing yoga and fitness to those around her.

I discovered hot yoga in 2009 and was immediately hooked. I was never athletic, so I found the practice challenging, but satisfying. I started to crave the inner peace that I felt after every class, and in 2012, I dove into studying yoga by immersing myself in a 500-hour intensive yoga teacher training. That spring I began leading a variety of classes in Dallas up until our recent move to Carlsbad, California.
I believe that yoga is for everyone, and my goal is to meet you where you are and help you grow at the pace that suits you best. If you can breathe, then you can yoga. My intention is to lead a nurturing, alignment-focused class where you can embrace yourself as you are, while feeling physically challenged, yet accomplished.
Off the mat, I enjoy traveling and adventuring with my love, Ryan, and our Shih Tzu, Stewie. We enjoy visiting and experiencing new places and doing activities off the beaten path. Moving forward, we hope to share our combined love of travel experiences and yoga and are excited to be leading our 1st trip to Thailand in February this year.

She feels It has brought her back to life and has inspired her to share that feeling with others and try to bring a little bit of peace & joy to each individual with every class. She lives an Ayurvedic lifestyle and offer pieces of that in my yoga classes by incorporating the elements, sun, moon, and earth into the body. Her focus is always on the heart, heart opening and connection to and awareness of heart felt desires and passions. Off the mat she enjoys camping, cooking, and gardening! :D
